4 bolts on the rear end housing, then it slides right out of the back of the tranny. the service CD says to mark a line on the rear u joint housing to the rear pumpkin so you install it back in the same orientation as it was before, but if you're gonna be putting a new one in that wont really matter.
the nuts on the rear can get rusted up a bit though, i had to use lots of PB blaster and an impact gun to break them loose
