Sorry to report that some things are happening and I will not be able to spend $1000+ on something that isn't at least going to give me performance... Going to be working on less expensive mods that will still up the boost. Very sorry! Good luck with it all though

I spoke with Gaylords today. They quoted a shipping cost (by Fed Ex ground) of an astounding $290. to Florida. Needless to say, that puts the kabosh on any real savings.
Knowing the real cost to be $1230. now, I would rather buy it locally, have it installed by the dealer, and just pay the extra $155. ($1375) that the dealer wants and then be getting the super deluxe X2000 Speedsturr wing.
Your group buy is a deal for those folks local to California but not so great for us east coast people. Thanks for your effort but I will have to pass for the mentioned reasons.

I can see that for some of the east coasters who have to pay shipping, it may not be worth while. However, sounds like there is still a potential to save $150 bucks. The lid isn't hard to install and truth be told you might be able to install better than a dealer since you'll take your time with it where most of those guys don't. Maybe the mark up on these hoods isn't as high as we think? Maybe Gaylord should be dropping the price of the GB a few more bucks.
What wasn't clear to me was whether Gaylord will allow 10 instead of 20.
Is this a mute point since we don't have enough as it is?

Alrighty then. PHIL, I purposely held off contacting Gaylord about reducing the buyer minimum to 10 until we at least got 10 buyers still RTB. Will explore this option FIRST before I broach the topic of reducing the price. Been playing phone tag with them this week, will try again MON.
