the doors with the flames are INSANELY easy as is the back wall with the flame... literally they are flat pieces of 1/8" or 1/4" masonite hardpanel, with 1/8" craft foam glued on, then the flame pattern is traced on to the foam. the reliefs are cut out... more glue, then the vinyl worked in... 30-45minutes a panel or so....No 'glass, no real sanding... simple & effective.. this truck had a flamed head liner too... good work.. terrible paint work quality though.

I agree ron I like that LOTS better... even in a std cab.

I'll drum up some more pics later.

The easy stuff is normally the coolest looking as long as one takes his time. I'm going to do something similar to that in my F100 but with pods for a component set at the bottom. The second enclosure is def. cleaner looking , but I think that if I had bought an ext. cab, I would've kept the seats installed. Those race seats aren't too pimpin though....

I think the second (orange) one is in a lightning... the seats look like Cobra racing seats.. very comfy & WAY better than the crap lightning 60/40 seat LOL

how crazy of a system do you plan on doing? in my 00 i've got a subbox.net box with two 10" memphis woofers and a memphis amp under the passenger seat and those suckers BUMP.

you looking for ridiculous amounts of bass and big gaudy encloser? if not, there's plenty of room under the seat although it may look pretty small, for a very nice sounding sub setup

ive also got a box that fills the entire space under my rear seat and i have two JL Audio 10's in it. the Kenwood amp is under the passenger seat. makes for a nice a$$ massage even in the front seats.

i have all new clarion speakers, a 10" Earthquake sub, Clarion 1000 watt amp, and a Clarion head unit... sub and amp are under the rear seat, with plenty more room for another sub if i wanted, speakers are in stock locations. the only thing that appears different at a glance is the head unit. i love my system. its as loud as i need, and id sounds clean... best test was with classical music, you could hear every different instrument, not just the muddy roar of bass... doors and firewalls are dynamatted, and it sounds great!
personally i would not go with the huge *PIMP* system, because you loose any functionality you once had...
    just my $0.02

PS. the most important thing is to get what you want, not what others think is what you need or should get. (not directed at anyone, just general advice!) good luck, I'm sure you will be happy with it when your done...
