Factory Tech or LFP Valve Body (FTVB) Upgrade

Factory Tech Accumulator Valve Body - by Gregg Evans

Before the FTVB, the shifts were mushy and lax. After the installation of the FTVB, the difference was night and day. Upon normal acceleration, you can feel it shift crisply thru the gears...but the real difference is when you womp on it...this is what I call "bobble-head shifting!!!" No doubt the FTVB really made a difference in firming up the shifts. So, if you want your truck to shift like a performer, instead of a grocery getter, then an FTVB is what you need I am 110% completely satisified with Gregg Evans' customer service and product!!!

    LFP Stage1 Performance Valve Body

LFP Stage 1 Performance Value Body is not just another "shift kit." It's more. Giving your SVT F-150 Lightning, F-150 Harley Davidson a complete Maximum performance valve body. Through the use of a heavier Stainless Steel boost valve/sleeve assembly and recalibrated springs in ALL shift bores, this performance kit shortens shift duration, which reduces wear to the friction surfaces, lowers fluid temps and ultimately will aid in a lower ET.

Unlike other kits this performance valve body replaces the lower circuit springs and sleeves, lessening the chance of side loading and "bang shifts." The LFP Stage 1 Performance Valve Body kit also utilizes a stainless steel boost valve sleeve to reduce wear and associated slip. O ring on the Line mod. valve is used to reduce pressure leakage in line pressure boost. Available for all 97 up E40D and 4R100 transmissions.

Supercharger Upgrade (Kenny Bell / Whipple)

    Kenny Bell Blowzilla

The switch is on to the more efficient Kenne Bell Twin Screw supercharger. It's the most flexible and powerful product available for the 5.4 Lightning. Kenne Bell, The Innovators, designed a direct bolt on replacement for the factory Roots type supercharger.

The Twin Screw enjoys several key performance advantages over the Roots: Higher boost potential (up to 22 psi), lower parasitic losses (-14HP at 9.3 psi) and reduced air charge temperatures (-65° at 9.3 psi). And it's boost adjustable from 9.3-22 psi for any street or track combination.

    Whipple Supercharger

If your craving more power from your Lightning or Harley truck, Whipple-Ford Racing has the answer. Get the industries largest, most efficient and latest designed twin-screw supercharger. The new Whipple-Ford Racing system can produce incredible power levels with stock 5.4L Lightning engines as well as highly modified engines. The revolutionary new W140ax compressor has the ability to run nearly 25lbs of boost (engine modifications required) for unheralded performance.

This direct bolt-on replacement system dramatically lowers supercharger air temperatures and power consumption (hp) versus the factory Eaton roots-type supercharger. The complete bolt-on system comes with all the necessary parts for 13lbs of boost including a Ford Racing flash programmer, large mouth inlet casting, high-flow cold-air intake system with massive S&B True Flow 9” filter and all as the necessary parts for a simple installation. The Whipple-Ford Racing system accommodates both factory and aftermarket throttle bodies and there’s no need to clearance the firewall or hood in anyway.

    LFP eFan Upgrade

Lightning Force Performance Deluxe 18" Electric Fan Kit

Remove restrictive stock, belt driven cooling fan. Eliminate approx. 12lbs. of rotating mass weight from your engine, increase fuel efficiency and add close to 15 horse power.

LFP's fan kit incorporates genuine Ford parts. Brand new F150 shroud & 18" dual speed fan. LFP's exclusive, factory style plug & play wiring harness is the most complete and efficient in the industry. Our kit features built in AC control, which allows fan to run when AC engages and key on tap. LFP deluxe wiring harness also features water proof relays (for peace of mind), 18" Factory, quick disconnect from fan motor, High speed over ride toggle switch in cab, fluid temp. senser. 100% loomed with NO cutting, drilling, splicing or circuits to build. High speed toggle allows for quick cool downs in staging lanes or on those hot summer days stuck in traffic. Cool off at the flip of a switch.

Installed, LFP's deluxe e-fan, has the appearance of a factory piece. NO straps or wires present to clutter up the engine bay compartment.

    Dyno Tune Upgrade

A dyno tune is the MOST reliable tune you can program into your truck computer. This allows you to not only tune your truck with the proper fuel/air ratio and spark advance. But it also allows you to see the results of these changes and the horsepower output of your truck. Other methods include the use of handheld tuners. These can be used as well but the results of loading preloaded engine tunes still needs to be verified on the dyno.

    The Diablo Predator

The Predator for '99-04 Lightning / '02-04 Harley (part no. U7158) is a state-of-the art, high performance tuning flash programmer in a sleek handheld design. Once connected to the vehicle, the Predators internal computer recognizes the vehicles PCM and automatically picks the proper tuning files designed specifically for that PCM. Inside the Predator's memory are the actual tuning files that optimize spark timing and air/fuel ratio curves. The transmission parameters are remapped to improve the shift characteristics such as shift firmness and shift points. Unlike other 'tuners', DiabloSport's programming is performed in very small increments throughout the entire RPM range, for a smoother, wider and a more predictable power delivery. DiabloSport engineers spend many hours on the dyno, street and track to ensure the tunes provided with the Predator are the best they can be.

LFP/Accu-Fab Polished Billet Throttle Body W/TPS

LFP's Billet Single Blade Throttle Body replaces your smaller stock throttle body. Your Ford vehicle will see a much improved throttle response, increased hp of approx. 8-10, increased torque by approx. 8-10 lbs.-ft. Machined from billet aluminum. Making a much cleaner better flowing throttle body. Not only a performance part but also a real good looker. Hook one up and feel the difference. Includes new Ford TPS sensor installed. (a $40.00 Value) Plus a new Ford mounting gasket. Works well with the Harley trucks.

    Brakes and Rotors

    RotorPros Disk Rotors

Specializing in High Performance braking needs. Cross drilled and slotted rotors are the "HOTTEST" new performance upgrade that not only make your car, truck or van look better, they provide you with "OVERALL" better braking. Each rotor has been precisely balanced to ensure the "ULTIMATE" braking experience. Hawk Performance Brake Pads

Hawk Performance has introduced a premium, high performance, ultra-low dust, low noise compound called Performance Ceramic.

Performance Ceramic is engineered to reduce vehicle brake NVH (Noise, Vibration and Harshness), creating a quieter performing brake pad for your truck or SUV. Furthermore, the ceramic formula has a linear friction profile that allows your truck's ABS brake system to work more effectively. With Performance Ceramic you can expect reduced brake pad wear, lower dust output levels and a rotor-friendly brake pad.

    Exhaust System Upgrades

Exhaust system upgrades are offered from several vendors (i.e. Magnaflow, Flowmasters, Bassini, etc) and are basically the choice of what the owner likes the truck to sound.

The first mod everyone does, rear shackle kit, should be first on the list, thats the first thing I did anyway.
Any hot rodder knows you do brakes and suspension upgrades before you make it go faster so Bilstiens, rear sway bar, decent tires, and a brake upgrade should be on the top 10 too.

Just my o2, I may be full of sh_t though.
