I think I would try a few different skins and see how the users like them. Try like 1 a week and take a vote.
It's very difficult to upgrade software and get a format that everyone likes.

OK, it's a little better with the member info to the left of the post rather than across the width of the page. Last night it was horrible trying to follow the posts. Still a little weird though.

Ok this might sound stupid but I think the problem is the contrasting colorsiaren't dark enough. What I mean is that the colors being used is washing out and everything seems to run together. For example, if you look at the Home Page and the headings it seems to run together with the info underneath it. I don't know if I'm explaining it right. But it seems like if the colors had a sharper contrast, it'd be easier to navigate. Sorry I watch to much HGTV!

One thing I DO like is that the PM box is at the top now. Don't have to go to the bottom of the home page to see if you have one.

Wow, they've changed things since last night too. It's more cleaned up now, with all the user info to the left again, and it includes the NHTOC number.
Also, the search will probably take a day or so, as they'll have to upload the post archive and get it set up. Search is always the last thing up with these. It should be back and better than ever soon though.

Well getting there with all of the Member info on the left...the Idea of difrent skins is working for me. I do like some of the NEW smiles though

How many posts do you have per page? Mine's set up to 30 right now, so I wonder if that has something to do with it?
Is anybody else having the same problem? I'm really curious about it now.
I love some of the new features...I will need to work with it a while to get used to it. I was almost used to the old style. CHANGE....Used to be a 4 letter word...we'll see.
