Cool bilsteins and hellwig sway installed today.......

yep, finally got them put on this morning. man what a difference! much better than stock. anyone considering this should do it. best mod on my truck (so far ) bilsteins on all four corners and a hellwig rear sway bar makes for a better ride. props to big bill for the hook up on the shocks!

Only if I answer me. Yeah that improves the truck a bunch. Now it's time for DblG's panhard to really make it all work together.

I have just been talking to Big Bill today, trying to arrange for him to send a set of Bilsteins over to the UK for me. Haven't ordered the sway bar but from everyones comments I guess that will be the next thing to fit. Only problem for me is getting everything shipped to the UK. With the twisty roads we have in the UK, better handling is a must and this mod definitely seems a good way to go.

ianf... ANY rear bar is an improvement!! helwig, Lightning, or Expy are fine... only do the Hotchkis bars in sets (F&R)...

If you aren't planning side exhaust... do the helwig.. if you think side exhaust... do the Lightning.

Thanks Rob. My exhaust is a side exit just behind the passenger side rear wheel. When it comes to changing the exhaust guess I will have to have whatever I can get at the time, difficult to get parts here. The bilsteins will be the first proper mod, already installed oil separator but a long way to go yet.

Can anyone tell me for sure if the L spec or the Screw spec Bilseins are the softest. Some confusion on this one.

Good work Dude. I'm waiting for mine TVS & Bilsteins to arrive from LFP. Then it's my turn to get it done too.

I have been trying to get a definitive answer to this for a while, on reading the posts it seems to be a 50/50 split on which are the softer. I am trying to get a set of L spec Bilsteins from Big Bill and according to him the L spec are softer than the Screw. I guess there can't be much difference between them, otherwise folks would have a more one sided opinion.

Ok if I want to improve ride quality and not spend too much money. Could some one put some kind of package together so that I could do my homework on what to buy. Remember the least expensive way to go. I already have the beltech 2" drop shackles and would like to get lightning exhoust so kep in mind.
