    New to the whole Forum thing

    Well I'm sitting here at work and am bored out of my mind so I start to look for stuff to throw on the HD. Then I run across this Forum. I have never really been to a Forum before and start to look around. Finally a place where I can talk HD trucks with people who have them to. So let me start off by saying hello. I have a 2001 HD with 45,000 miles on it, and I need help with it. I live in Dacula Ga which it about 15 mins from the Mall of Ga. I hope to get to know you guys and gals, and hopefully you can teach me and show me how to upgrade my HD.

    By your handle I am going to guess you are a officer. There are many here and Military folk , alike.
    You will find this a tight knit community of helpful enthusiasts. The Georgia chapter of NLOC (Lightning) is very active in gathering and shows, however the Harley chapter is wide spread and well,,,,,there are three of us that will show up,,,about eight L's. We need back up!

    welcome, glad you found us. there is definately a load of info on this site. great group of people too. glad to see another 01 owner as well. our trucks are the rarest we are about to have a big parts give away for paying members so if you want in it is only 35 bucks for the year. once again welcome and watch out for the mod bug. is yours modded at all?

    I've had the Mod bug just never had the time or experience to do anything with it. I would like to add in order, a new rear seat ( removing the 2 and replacing it with a bench), system, and powder coat the rims black.

    I have seen powder coated Harley Rims up close and personal out here in cali at Dantes Performance shop on an 02.....IMO they do not look good at all...

    But that is what makes us...us....not everyone likes the same thing and that is what sets our trucks apart as we mod.....

    You will be able to sell those rear seats in a quickness here...lots of guys here looking for spare rear seat to do three seat conversion mod.....

    I wanted to do a third seat in the rear. I went to a local Ford dealer and they said that it can't be done. We just had a baby, and being an Officer and seeing all the accidents I dont want to put her next to a door. If you know of anyone here who has done a 3rd rear seat, let me know.

    Couple guys have and it can be done....
