Question BullyDog Dominator Module or Gale Banks Six-Gun Tuner

Has anyone tried these mods on their 6.0L Diesel?

The SCT Xcal2 is supposed to be an excellent product. The guys at Innovative Diesel are supposed to be writing some awesome custom programs.

There's lots of hub-bub about programmers. Use SCT, use BD, use Banks, use blah...It will ultimately come down to personal preference. Who you talk to and who had had good luck vs bad luck. I personally am a Diablosport guy.

All the tuners have had their share of issues with bad revisions of code. I happen to have good luck with Diablo.

I'd say you go with what your local tunner uses.

I've got an edge platinum. Couldn't be happier with it. Better than the old edge with alot more features. Firms up shifts, even has a turbo timer. Plus you don't have to install aftermarket gauges.

    Ohio,

As you can see from my post, I am a Diablo fan. However, I have indeed heard great things about Innovative Diesel's custom tunes for the SCT. Check them out. Go to www.thedieselstop.com, the members of that forum praise them highly.

2manytrucks, I use to run the superchip and recently went with the SCTxcal2 the second level is just as powerfull as the superchip on the max then when u try the looney tune its evan better plus i had problems with the superchip shifting hard and there service. If your not sure which to go with just ask other members and do some homework on each product. I bought mine from www.dj-performance.com there located in florida so they mite be close to you. www.thedieselgarage.com is also very helpufull.
