How To: Use Bluetooth with your Cellphone

How To: Use Bluetooth with your Cellphone

So you want to put ringtones onto your Bluetooth compatible cellphone. How ever can I do it???? Someone please tell me...

    How you gonna 'Get-Ur-Done'?

    Well then, listen up trainee!

First off, go get you a USB Bluetooth wireless adapter. This is the one that I use and it works great.

Insert the USB Bluetooth Adapter into your favorite PC and follow the software driver installation instructions that came with it.

Once the Bluetooth adapter is plugged in and the software loaded. A Bluetooth icon should appear in your system tray.

The Bluetooth adapter is now ready for use.

Turn the Bluetooth feature ON on your cellphone.

Using your PC, search for your cellphone.

Once your PC finds you cellphone, it should appear in your Bluetooth Neighborhood.

Note: The first time that you connect your cellphone to your PC via Bluetooth. You will have to pair them up with a security code. I usually just user '123456' as my security code. It make is simple to remember. Your cellphone can only be accessed if the Bluetooth feature is turned on.

Setup will vary with the phones. Mine actually seperates the phone memory and the memory stick.

Now just drag-n-drop the files onto your phone in the correct subdirectory.

Now listen to your new Del tones often!

Excellant Del, just the info I was looking for. Everyone gives you a "how to" but pictures are always good. Going to go get a wireless adapter tomorrow.
