    Aluminum Welding

    Does anyone know of a local shop that does REAL PRETTY Tig work on Aluminum....

    Gotta find an expert on that stuff. Welding aluminum is an Art. The way the metal bubbles under the Tig arc requires skill and experience to make it look pretty and be done properly.

    Can you tell that I have welding aluminum before.. ;-)

    Periodically some of these brackets and what not are ordered in Aluminum and,,,being as anal as I am it is just plain hard to find someone good and still be the Enthusiast I am and keep prices real...

    I know this doesnt help you too much G but there is a shop about 15minutes from me that is recognized as one of the best aluminum welding shops on the east coast...they are called Marine Fabricators and they specialize in making rigging for boats and tuna towers...stuff like that...a friend of mine that is co-owner welds aluminum for me and its GORGEOUS..I havent seen anything done better even on TV...

    He must be a Master Welder!!!

    Wish I could weld with aluminum more. I haven't done it since I was in school learning to weld. I can't afford a good tig welder. So I mig everything..
