Thumbs up Pads ... What brand are they?

Well that deal sounds pretty sweet! The pads you mention for $85.00 are they Hawk ceramic's or what are they?

Thanks for supporting us with these bonus deals.

The pads are not Hawks. They are manufactured by the same maker as the rotors www.CENTRICPARTS.com They are a low dust semi-metallic. We do not recommend ceramic pads for use with our rotors. Hawks are great since they are not ceramic but they are a bit pricey. The Centric pads we use are very good and will brake toe to toe with Hawks at only a fraction of the costs. Looking forward to serving your braking needs. Thanks

could you please elaborate on why you do not recommend ceramic pad with your rotors? i would like to get a set of your rotors, but i like ceramic pads because of the low noise and very low dust qualities. i understand ceramic pads may not perform as well as the semi-metallic with your rotors, but what is the downfall of using them? is there any chance the ceramics may damage the rotor?

    Ceramic Pads Not Recommended

We do not recommend ceramic or kevlar pads for use with our dimpled and slotted or drilled and slotted rotors because those pads are too rough for the slotted surface. We recommend Hawk HPS or a set of our Posi Quiet pads manufactured by www.CENTRICPARTS.com We have sold this combination hundreds of times over without any problems. The Hawks can be purchased at your local PepBoys. Thanks

Rotorpros / Spray it On racing

If Bill can do that for all four pads........ Please jump on it!! I have done business with him and actually turned him on ( recommended ) him to the NHTOC forum. However, I was unaware he could get HAWK pads that cheap. Way to go BILL!!!!!

    Rotorpros

Unfortunately, when we ship to Canada we end up receive the duties and taxes bill about a month later. In order to cover these costs add $50 to the total listed. Thanks
