Jessie down at LFP called me today. The hardware is FINALLY on its way.

I even called up to JLP but the cute lil girl on the phone never called back, but its all good. I can finally get them installed. What do you say Blackhawk? How long do you think it will take?

I would expect about half a day as we want to take our time and do it right. A weekend day is best for me as I usually work from 7am to 6pm during the week. Just let me know when you get the parts and want to do it.

Weekend works best for me also. Most likely a Saturday. As of right now, lets try for the 26th?

We have near the same work hours, if i only do one job but i am doing two jobs right now.
6am till about 5pm, sometimes later or earlier
    then
    7pm to 11pm

Thats done about 3 times a week. Then i also work every Sunday.

    Modding is expensive.

with putting time like that, I'd expect a built block to going in soon!

j/k...I know how it is to work long hours to make ends meet sometimes. I think its very commendable that you are working the way you are regardless of the reasons behind it.

Built long block is the next save up. This save up was for a system. That got cut off by traction bars and a new ported Eaton. So i still have to finish the system.

Yep and trust me use loktite on all your hardware.
I've had to replace several and still haven't had enough sense to use loktite on the bolts! But you shouldn't make the same mistake as me...
I was able to tell the first time I had some missing because of the squeaking coming from the front brackets, so got up under neath the truck and notice that I was missing the two front bolts and one of the rear ones was coming loose.

Live and learn or learn from others mistakes... Learned it learn'ed lol

    Later...
    Bruce

Hey Blackhawk. Give me call tomorrow. Might have something else to install or at least discuss.

214-679-4600 anytime is good. I'll most likely answer unless i am inside the office.

loctite. Got it. Someone suggested welding, but that costs more.
