What is a good 10" sub company? I was looking at Dual, but heard they weren't quality? Any opinions?

Also, for an amp I was either getting an MTX or Audiobahn.. any opinions there? Or any better suggestions? TIA.

This crapola is so confusing lol
Yep...i'm not much on this stuff either. The stealthbox I bought had a 10" MTX6000 speaker in it and that's what is going into mine. The box was such a piece of crap that I decided to make one. I paid $300+ for it and it was total crap. Since the seller is no longer on this board I won't say who it was.

Im really excited about the box though, I've wanted a stealthbox for awhile now, but the other was too expensive. You rock Fe!

I had Rockford Fosgate for a few years and was very pleased. They were 12's though, but I would have to think the quality would translate to the 10's.

This is when I wish Rob W. was around to lend is expertise. Maybe a quick search of the Audio section will yield some ideas for a good 10in sub.

BTW: Fepony, very impressed by the box!

I've been looking through the audio section but can't seem to find exactly the opinions I need. I suppose I'll be heading to a few audio stores this weekend to ask around about what would be a good sounding sub for the air space it is in and the truck cab. I don't need to be heard from miles away you know? lol I want something that looks nice (obviously) preferrably blue b/c that's my interior "accent color" but that has good quality above all.

**Also, Im a believer in "you get what you pay for" so I'm quite prepared to dish out for a good quality amp and a good quality sub in order to get the sound I want. I already have new speakers in the doors and a new HU that I didn't cheap out on since I knew somewhere down the road I would be buying a sub.

Image Dynamics and Resonant Engineering both make great subs; not as known as the other companies but they are known as great in the audio community. I also have a thing for JL audio and their new W3v3 series looks pretty good and you can't go wrong with a JL 10w6 and the airspace may accomodate a w7 but not sure on the dimensions.

    length X width X height

Funny you asked because I was just about to ask you what all the dimensions of the box are. Good timing there Fe.

Edit: If you are going to measure in inches, then after you get the LXWXH you divide by 1728 and that will give you cubic feet.
