gotta love capitalism.....
2001 Harley Davidson F150 SuperCrew w/ many mods SOLD
My local dealer sold their only two allotments for $750 over msrp. They said they would put me on a waitlist for the same price, but I haven't heard anything in weeks.
the worst part is that people will pay that and cause the price to probably go even higher!!!
I agree with 04Silverbullet, people are willing to pay the $20K over the sticker price. this gives the dealer incentive to mark it up even higher.
It's Freakin Rediculous is what it is!!!
So basically if I can get one at MSRP, I should? They are saying that they will have it in the next 4-6 weeks. I could then just turn around and sell it. Tell me if I am missing something here.

As soon as you buy it it instantly depreciates in value. So, I am not sure if it would be worth it.
Only if it is registered to you.Originally Posted by TreyDrude

Want one? Just wait a little. It's going to be like the c6 ZO6. For the first couple of months the desperate people with money will pay above msrp for the car but after a couple of months the cras would be on the showroom just sitting there. Then is when you come into the dealer and get the car @ MSRP. I saw this happen in front of me. Three ZO6's sold within the first wek for 84K. Now you can get one they have for msrp. And trust me Ford is going to make plenty of this cars.
The dealership here is charging more than that! They sold their first two at $20k over sticker, and the owner decided that was too easy, so the third one will be $45k over! It's the convertible one. And the sad thing is that they'll get it likely.
On eBayMotors.com, one Texas dealership is advertising a 2007 Shelby GT500 with a "Buy it now" price of $99,999.
That's insane.
If someone offered you say $10-$20,000 more than your Harley is worth, (because they just had to have it) are you telling me that you WOULD NOT take it ????????
I have Sold 5 GT500's so far. And I have 2 more customers that really want one. If I have to pay another dealer x amount over MSRP to buy the rights to their 1 car, I have to charge $18-20,000 over MSRP. The best thing is the customer can tell me YES OR NO on my selling price.
I want 1 for myself, but I can't pay that much and still keep my 06 Harley SD.
