Both shops here in Fredericksburg offer hoods, but it's a similar story at both. The let you look through a catalog remarkably similar to Stylin' Concepts and will order it for you. At least the shipping is free going through them. I saw a keystone with dual-guage pods at the rear of the cowl going onto a truck at Bigfoot Speed & Custom..looked nice.

Dave, are you sure on that? I wouldn't doubt it but soooo many people have been waiting on that hood. It is no longer on Keystones website and last i heard they were not going to make it.

Fuz, I agree. I used the search button and found nothing but heartache on that hood. But it looked identical to the models I've seen in pictures online.

The cowl had a moderate lift...not too big, and there were two gauge holes right up in the middle. The guy who was having installed was whining about not being able to find all weather guages. The installers certainly weren't pleased with the fit and finish, lots of shimming to make it line up. Guy was lucky it came white gel-coated, because his truck was white...doesn't look too out of place until he gets it painted.

I guess I can swing by BigFoot again and ask?

Sure thing, I'll swing by BigFoot on Friday morning. I'm working a 13 hour shift tomorrow, and I don't think my lunch break will allow me to browse a custom shop for too long. I have to admit I'm growing fond of the shaker look myself. Anybody seen one on a two-tone...I'm worried it might look odd.

I myself love the shaker... would of loved to have it. Luckily i saw one on a supercrew and quickly got turned off. Since then i've seen it on a Lightning. Loved it.

The shaker part is just to small for the supercrew. IMO

Well, for those interested in that dual-pod cowl hood, I stopped by BigFoot today and inquired about it. It was the right hood, and apparently they had been sitting on that thing for well over a year and not one customer was willing to step up to the pricetag.

I can see why, he claims to have sold it for $1200...it was unpainted too.

Anyone have experience with the functional ram-air hoods from http://www.abcexclusive.com/? I kind of like both, but I'm more of a smooth-lines guy.

The single cab silver F150 you see in some pics on the ABC site is a good friend of mine. That hood is awesome!

He has the SS 150. It wont work exactly with the way our intakes are.... but with a lil fabrication it might be possible. But it will atleast dump the air over a filter if you have an aftermarket CAI.
