You betcha!...thanks for the tip. Think I'll wait till closer to the end to bid though. These type of things have a habit of going up pretty quick if they are judged to be of interest.

There's also a complete "used" 02 commemorative set listed. Used because it's engraved. "Buy it now" for $500 or best offer. Yup $500

I missed out on the knife. I waited around at the end and put in a bid of about $25 more with less than a minute to go and got the high bidder and then the first bidder got it for $1 more. How do they do that?

Thought about a sniper program similar to below, but usually ending price is higher than I want to pay.

    Question

How does this sniper software work if 2 or more of the bidders are using it for the same item?

    its for you.....

    we all could have it...

basically you set your max bid....and time to start bidding.....

when the time kicks off...it will auto bid for you....only the amount needed to be the high bidder.....

if someone outbids you..then it will bid again ....only enough to be the high bidder...

this all happens until either the auction ends...or you reach the maximum amount set by you...

    Unhappy

Okay I see. I just read their FAQ's too.

What happens if two Powersnipe users bid on the same auction?

If two users bid on the same item using Powersnipe, Powersnipe will submit the two bids and the person with the higher bid will win.

Yeah, they must have used something like this, 'cause it was at $35.99 and I put in $61.99 as my max bid about 15 seconds before the end when I thought some one wouldn't have enough time to keep upping the bid and the 1st guy that started the bidding got it for $62.99. Dang it !

Hey, I just got it for $61.99. It came up with a 2nd chance saying something about the original winner not paying for it or the seller having 2 items.
    Cool!.....Thanks guys.
