it would be advised....I mean, it's your truck now...I would hope that you knew everything about it ensuring that it was done right for peice of mind as a blown motor aint cheap...

Find out all the mods....and everythign about the tune..

who and how the tune was done...a/f, timing etc?
Does it have an aftermarket Valve Body in the Tranny and if it has a tune was the line pressure increased in the tune ?
    pulley sizes?
    MAF Extender?
What kinda of plugs, when were they last changed and what was the gap set to?
    etc etc etc

    just my .02

nope...the wideband is just that a wideband....it has a wide band 02 sensor that comes with it.. You will need to have a bung welded in the exhaust (most put it on the driver side exhaust near the factory front 02 sensor) the wideband plugs into its own 02 sensor....Dynojet Wideband COmmander, Inovative are popular choices....NDEBT, Madenterprise, LFP SVs here carry them at good prices...

Nothing wrong with that...everyone here was at one time....that is what we are here for...sharing the knowledge!!!

Not Junk but just not accurate....as a wideband is....getting it on a dyno and seeing what the real a/f is would be nice...and if it is really that rich then it would have to have been tuned someway....as the stock PCM cant adjust for 15lbs of boost....and I would hope that it is truly running that rich at least you wont lean it out and go BOOOOOOM

HATE TO KEEP SENDING A BARRAGE OF QUSETIONS AT YOU but if its that rich then is that safe for the time being?? until i can get it on a dynoand check them? it runs smooth as silk all the way up to 100 where it cuts off i would think if it had a tune/chip burned they would have tuned that out also

    LOL

you made a good choice man...just find out all the stuff done to it and make sure it is right....the SC is a blast and well the 00/01s just wont do it for ya...

Stock fuel system is good for a while...I doubt you ran out of injector/pump....if you did you would have gone lean and BOOM....even the narrow band a/f gauge would have shown ya getting lean...

Bare minimum go thru it and get it all checked out, worse case scenario you have bought your self some piece of mind.
