    Can Anyone Help?

    Hi guys, I have got a 2001 Ford F150 Lightning and it needs some work doing. I am based in the Midlands and can get anywhere in Britain.

    I basically need someone who knows these engines to have a look at mine and find out whats wrong with it. I have had one company tell me that its the big end gone. the only trouble is they have not got the facilities to do it. I have spoken to a couple of other people, one of them used to own the vehicle and another imported a lid for the back and they dont believe its the big end.

    did you spit a plug? how much boost are you (were you) pushing? what are the symptons?

    I only started the car up, so dont know anything about engines. I did not drive it with a heavy foot. If anyone can direct me in the right way I will be very grateful

    I'll second Danny at Adrenaline. He has an 11 sec Lightning and runs his own tuning shop.
    They are in Rushden which is near Santa Pod.
