I used brake cleaner. Auto Zone had the CRC brand with two different cans. One is red and the other is green. The green one worked way better than the red.

When I did mine, I did not spray anything into the SC. I cleaned the IC and plenum (detached from the SC) and washed with detergent and water to remove residue. Next blowed dry with compressed air. This left both pieces clean with no residue and the supercharger unaffected.

depending on how bad, sometimes the blower rotors and inside casing are also soaked with oil
good time to check for the coating on the rotors to be flaking and if it is, then stripping them may be in order (or if you're super pimp, a set of cobra graphite rotors!)

Plenty of GMs but never a Ford. You may need a 1/2 inch breaker bar with a good long cheater bar (read piece of pipe) to bust them loose or an impact. Their pretty easy on GMs.
I dont know how much help Ill be but Im gonna try to make it sunday, have to leave by 12 tho, I said Id be at the Lewisville Hooters car show at 1, they say its a big one.

I wouldn't strip them unless they're chipped pretty badly

Or unless you accidently use brake cleaner on them and start the job for yourself.
