Presidential Saavy
As you all know, President Bush recently addressed the meeting of the UN.
After the session he met with and cordially addressed the President of Iran. It is purported that the Iranian president, in an effort to keep "things neutral", asked President Bush an esoteric question: "Mr. President, now that Iran has access to world network television, my son watches this American program called 'Star Trek'. This program has a Russian named 'Chekov', a Scot named 'Scotty', and a Chinese person named 'Sulu' ... my son is upset because there are no Arabs featured in this program. This lack of Arab representation does not appear favorable to young Arabs. What might you do to remedy this?"
Buffoon Bush, in an apparent, albeit seldom, ability to relate, replied quite admirably: "That's because it takes place in the future."
WOW! Moral of the story is that global leaders need to align with President Bush on HIS "plain-of-understanding" in order to move forward for ALL humankind sake! … because it is VERY narrow!

For a real dose of Presidential savvy you should read Chavez' speech to the UN. He is pretty much on target.
