it will but probably not a good idea
not sure about towing and weight as I really don't tow anything, but I would also look into getting helper air bags
I wouldn't even try that. That is more than twice the listed towing capacity, and even if you put rims and tires that are rated for it, it cannot be good for the truck. Tires would probably spin on the ramp anyways.
10K, you need a 3/4 ton or better to pull that monster. I have an 03 HD and pull a aluminum trailer and car. It puts me right at 4.5K. With the lowered suspension and tire setup, I agree with Grey Wolf. Don't even try it!
Since we're on the topic of towing... can my 03 tow a 2500lb+ trailer Audi S4??
Most likely if you still have the stock susp and aren't lowered and you don't drive it in stop and go traffic. The S4 prob comes in around 3800 lbs or so (maybe less). You would be best to get some tires rated for that weight and take it pretty easy. It's not the engine and transmission you have to worry about as the T is heavy duty, and the engine has plenty of power. Just make sure the tongue weight doesn't exceed the rating. I wouldn't want too much more weight on there though.Originally Posted by PilotA3XX

Id rather see you borrow my HD Super Duty than hurt one of your F150s....

Sooooooo an F250 Harley should be able to then right???
I think I'm trying to find a reason to trade up
lol....
Not a reason to trade up... A reason to add another!
Once ... I repeat, ONCE ... while my 350 was in the shop, I used the H-D to tow a Class IV flatbed (made for hauling small backhoes) weighing 2,350 with an E-Z Lift load-leveling system (10K lbs) and anti-sway. The hitch set-up itself weighs 150 lbs. I towed a '35 Packard Super Eight sedan (4,500) for approximately 22 miles to my brother's shop. I had Belltech 2" shackles on the H-D. Bottom line? ... I was pulling 7K and was on the bump-stops virtually all the way even with the 10K lb. load-leveler set-up! Plenty of power but will NEVER do it again! H-Ds are not/were not meant to be a "prime-hauler"!

Ok, I Will Chime In....
Before I Had My 350 Harley, I Towed My Lightning (4,230 lbs) On A Tandem Trailer (2,200 lbs) Behind My Daughter's Lightning. It Went Ok, And I Did Not Have A Torsion (Ez Lift Assist). I Know There Are Other Guys In The NLOC Who Have Done The Same.
But, (And Here Is The But) I Agree About The Wheel Tire Combo On The Harley Being Possibly Ill Suited For The Task. The Real Test Would Be To Hook It Up, With What Ever Hitch / Assist Combo You Might Have, Then Go Put The Back Axle On The Scales And See What Kind Of Weight You Are Putting Down On The Ground. If It Is Even Close (Like 750 lbs To The Weight Limit Of the Rear Axle Tire Combo,) I Woulkd Be Nervous......
Because The Rule Of Thumb Is To Never Exceed Your Tire/Wheel Rating !!
Just My .02
These are the parts, helper spring from Active Suspension, rear end girdle from TA Peformance, flash tuner from DiabloSport with a custom tune for towing, FIPK cold air kit from K&N, 4Lb pulley (usually 9"), drilled and slotted rotars for stopping power, class #3 hitch, and fully inflated Goodyears. I pull my horse trailer loaded, no problem at 10,570 Lbs.
