The low mileage should be insignificant when purchasing a used vehicle unless you feel that there is a reliability issue. It isn't like that truck is currently under factory warranty given the low mileage. The buyer would still have to buy a warranty from ford even though it is low. If the drivetrain has reliability issues, that is the only reason that go that route. My 03 had almost 20K on it when I got rid of it and it was in better shape than a new one.

I don't care what vehicle you're purchasing used....if it's not wrecked or had mechanical problems, less mileage usually means it's been pampered and is a better deal. Just my .02 cents.

because you could just buy a stock truck that was abused for just a 'few' miles instead!!!

is that a serious comment? Yes IF i were to buy a used performance vehicle, I would much rather it have low miles than a modded one with 30,000 or so more miles.

    How's this been turned around??????????
Mike was just being a good member and posting a pristine 03HD FS and some of you guys just go off on a tangent about price being too much!!!????
If that's the case then all of you that have bought HD's new and complaining about how you paid less then maybe you should have bought used HD for a lower price that may or maynot have been abused.
If given the choice most of you would buy a new/low mile HD vs a used/higher mile HD and don't even say you guys wouldn't unless you knew exactly how it was treated.
