    Picked up my new truck!

That's right! Got my 2007 Toyota Tacoma X-Runner this afternoon. $500 over invoice.

Gotta say, I really missed driving a manual, more so than I thought. Found a 2" drop kit I'll be installing next weekend, hopefully. This will allow me to run 20" wheels later on.

I'll have some pics up tomorrow so you guys can give me a hard time.

    Darrell,
Congrats on your new toy. Have to admit the styling of those trucks are pretty good. I was able to give them a pretty good once over when a friend of mine bought one in Hawaii last year.

BTW, most of the crappers are still @ Love Ride and will not be home to yak on the board till much later. In case you were wondering, you were missed and we even talked about you a bit.

    Derm,
Congrats on the new ride. Trading in the HD and wanting to mod the new Toyota still seems a little puzzling to me. You're always welcome here. Oh well, I'm sure you'll have fun and enjoy it. Where are the pics?

I might have calculated it wrong but I know it dint use anywhere near what I budgeted for and I figured using 15mpg as an average.

Why do you need to see the payoff? I didn't buy the truck for you.

I never got better than 16MPG in my HD. I have a hard time believing you got 20. If you did, then

Stew claims similar numbers for MPG...don't see how it's possible, but I know I've got a lead foot. Maybe your feet aren't as heavy?

I'll have pics this weekend (hopefully). I've been working 10-12 hours a day the couple weeks. Factor in my commute time and there isn't much time for anything else.

I got rid of the HD for a few reasons.
    1. I never drove it.
    2. I was mad I had no time to drive it.
    3. I got bored with it and wanted a change.

Miles of trip divided by gallons of gas used.
