Thanks for the invite Adam but its not my kind of thing really.......I've got the scruffiest truck in the UK !! But I still love it and I'm glad to get it back. Its in for m.o.t. today so fingers crossed on emmissions.....I think its still a tad smokey from the running in oil etc. Hopefully the (U.S.lights friendly) station will continue to be good to me.

Hi Dean...don't know the detailed SP Re: the rebuild , but it was an "engine-out" job and delaminated piston shells were on the list amongst others.

Re:the m.o.t. havent heard the result yet, but there are a couple around here that turn a blind eye to red tails etc, including the one doing the test. I know the owner quite well ......despite driving a Dodge himself, he's quite a good guy !!

M.O.T. passed off peacefully.....will be needing some inner track rod ends next tho' if anyone has a contact ???

The CO emmission was 0.01 !!! So much for me worrying about that then !!

Taking the truck on a run up to Brum next week so that will finish off the 500 run-in miles I'm doing....will get the oil changed then and see whats what with the performance after that.

A bit late I know, but here are a few pics of the old git on the trailer the day I took it to the garage. The Shogun is a 3.5 V6 but it struggled on Devils Dyke!!
