I thought the torque was a little high also... only by about 20lbs.

    Predator - Custom Tune
    JLP 6lb Lower
    FTVB
    E-Fan
    Metco Tensioner
    Chickenears Ram Air Intake
    C&L Polished Elbow
    Negative Grounding Kit
    Mag-Hytec Differential Cover
    Crankcase Breather
    Bassani X-Pipe
    Dynomax Race Bullets

    I think that's about it.

Somethings wrong with that, im not trying to be an a$$ but the tq is crossing the hp at 5200 rpm??

On 99% of the graphs ive seen they cross at 4200.

Edit :- with those mods there is no way they are realistic, 100 ftlbs more tq than my setup... hummmm.

That's what this site is all about... If there is an issue with my tune... I want to hear about it.

My last dyno resulted in: (at a different tuning facilty)

    Max HP - 365
    Max TQ - 460

    Since then... I have added:
    E-Fan
    Metco Tensioner
    Chickenears Ram Air Intake
    C&L Polished Elbow
    Negative Grounding Kit
Mag-Hytec Differential Cover (not sure if this effects torque - holds more fluid/runs cooler)
    All synthetic fluids
    Water Wetter

I think most of the additional power has come from the tune. It took them 4 hours and 10 pulls to make all the changes. They are a DiabloSport tuning facility. Instead of making all the changes with the Predator... they plugged the Predator into their computer... made the changes... then loaded the changes to the Predator... then to my truck.

Their Dyno (Dyno Dynamics Dynamometer) allows them to look at all aspects of the tune... not just WOT. They said they made several adjustments in the mid range.

Is it the type of Dyno that puts out these numbers or do I have a tune that might cause issues?

I would like some of the more knowledgeable members to chime in with their thoughts.

    wow...those are real nice numbers!

the e-fan will give you some ponies over the previous dyno run and given the weather has been real cool lately in TX will also add to that.

one thing that I didn't notice was the A/F ratio and how many * of timing were in the tune...

I'm iffy about the numbers also. I'm with britincali not trying to be an *** but WOW! I've got more mods than you, and less TQ by 45lbs! They say a ported blower makes less TQ but 45lbs?

So when you guys says the numbers look wrong... is it the dyno or my tune?

If my truck was tuned at 3000 rpms and WOT could this help boost my overall performance?

Is there some info on my Predator I should look at?

Please start offering some advice instead of ridicule and I don't mean that in a bad way... If I have an issue with my tune... I would like some help.

The timing varies depending on the load.

He showed me the DiabloSport software program he uses and there are numerious tables where he inputs the a/f and timing depending on the RPM.

Stew walked me through some data logging with my Predator...

I am at 16 degrees timing and my MAF v is at 4.2 at WOT.

On 99% of the graphs ive seen they cross at 4200.

The equation makes trq and hp cross the graph at 5250 everytime!!!

I agree, the dyno is off. Dyno jet?
