Metalman, greyhd and I stopped by to see Stew and family. When we first got there, it was very noticable how much pain Stew was in. One hit of the magic Morh machine and things mellowed abit. After it took hold of his pain, he was chatting up a storm.The second hit took care of him

Ok, here's the scoop: Surgery has been scheduled for the 13th of Feb to fix our mod monster. It is "orthoscopic" (I think Ally said) so he won't have too many battle scars to show off.
When I first arrived to the hospital Stew seemed in a lot of pain, but a little morphine(1st shot) had him chatting it up with everyone including Stew bringing out some "contra band". Then Stew went on and hit the morp button for a second time and well this is what happens when you hang with the crappers, here are some pics, oh by the way Stew's wife gave me the ok and it was her idea.

I heard a couple weeks ago that there are new surgeries for bad backs that are lower risk than the older ones, and have a higher success rate. I hope it helps him, back pain is no joke. GL Stew.

Thanks 100th for the update. Good to hear he is having it fixed the right way and not just given some meds for the pain. Here is to a speedy recovery and back to modding the "black hammer".
Greyhd, Thanx for the pics. Do you think he'll recognize who was holding the smiley face balloon? Too bad that the whole visit wasn't recorded. I know some people would have pissed themselves the way that Metalman was going off......................
