I used a 300 in the install I did and it worked very well with about 1000 watts RMS. I don't remeber how much it cost because I Had a buddy in the business and he gave me the hook up. The main thing is follow the instructions and install it as they want you to wire it. You have to run a little more wire than I thought was nessary but they work VERY good.
If I upgrade the sub in my truck and start actually pushing my JL 500/1 then I will put the batcap 400 in just because I like to be over kill instead of getting by.
    Good luck on your install!

my friend that has the silverado has a small one on his setup and i liked it it's not bulky or in the way like a capacitor. i was looking at maybe the 300-400 batcap thought maybe someone on here could get hooked up on some =)

I installed the one I used in the spare tire well of the Acura Integra which was right under the amps. Very nice set up. Almost kept the lights from dimming at idle with the system cranked. I had the same system in a Mazda Protege with 3 1-farad caps and the lights almost went out when the system was cranked at idle. With that I was Very Impressed with the Batcap.
