    Have to think about that

I have to believe that the L hood as well as ours weighs more than 13 pounds... I would guess somewhere between 25-35. But I have never weighed one, so you may be correct.

if you are looking to shave weight, an aftermarket hood is not the way to go as there aren't any aftermarket hoods that weigh as little as our stockers...but if you want a sweet looking hood for a killer price, this is the hood for you

all hoods from 97-1004 heritage are the same.....and they are light....official weight?? no clue but remember seeing posts that is between 13-17lbs and you wont find a hood lighter than that....

unless you go with a lift off Carbon Fiber skin....anything that is molded and maid to work with hinges and all (including CF) will not be lighter than our stock hoods....Just FYI

Hey! Sorry about the delay. I'm on vacation in Florida right now and this is the first time i've been online in about five days. Here's my info:

I saw a lot of HD's on the way down here, mostly rolling through SC. Seen quite a few down here in Lake Worth/Boca/Delray area as well. I definitely have the dirtiest truck out of all of them... but damn, it was 19 degrees in Toledo when I left, and its over 80 down here... I'll take a little dirt on the HD to be out of the damn snow!

I don't know when the next time I'll be able to get online will be, but I'll try to make it as soon as possible now that I know this is going on.

Everyone's name is turned in, so you can give Mike a call for payment. Don't forget that it will be about a month for FBI to receive the hoods from their supplier, so it will probably be a week or two for us to receive it from them.

If anyone else wants a hood, its still not to late. Post up and I will get your name to Mike.
