    03 Oiler??

Hey folks!! New guy on board down here in Florida. Got a 03 two tone that I finally decided to play with. Started with Flowmaster, Diablo Preditor reprogram, and Volant air intake. Also bought an "RPM" oil seperator that sits in the oil fill hole of the passenger valve cover. Looks installed right but still getting more oil than I think I should through the throttle body, into the air cleaner, down tube and pooling into the rubber boot in front of the air cleaner. I'l spend tonight on line looking at the various forums looking for similar posts. Thanks. Looks like a great site

    Thumbs up

Cool. I'll check them out. Looks like the Vince units may bypass the PCV on the passenger side and go from the "T" vacume lines at the firewall to the seperator and into the back of the plenum. I'm sure any directions it comes with will correct my misread of the photos posted. I'll put out the $200 for a quality unit to keep from ingesting oil. I'm new on NTOC but cn already tell; If I'm going to bark with the big dogs I better BE a big dog.

dont put a dollar sign in your post...newbie filter is catching it and keeping your post from being put up...

DblG oill Sep and Vinces are the proven best.....neither bypasses the pcv valve....

Not sure what you mean by the dollar sign. Didn't put one in and don't see it on m end. Notice your from Southern Cal. I'm from San Diego and ended up in Florida once my Air Force tour was completed. The Vince unit looks similar to mine and is mounted identically.

Vince's is a different separator than the RPM outlet one. theirs looks like a modified PCV setup. Vinces is a true oil separator. tons of guys here have them, and they work great.

    Welcome to the site btw!

Rest assured that Dbl Gs oil seperator is a true seperator as well....

Vince.....works exceptionally well, bland in the looks department and maintenance free.....

Dbl G....works exceptionally well, defintley BLing in looks department and not maintenance free for now....but should have somehting in the works to rectify that soon, as I have been testing something that I came up with....

BOth exceptional SVs, both with great customer service, and both with excpetional products that work....

    oil separator

I also bought a separator from rpm guess what???? dint work .
worse yet! check engine lite on po171 lean bank 1 stupid idea with the small
k/n filter on the driver side. letting in unmetered air in, making motor even leaner. well so far i have not seen any thing any different than the way rpm system works just real shiny. beleive it or not the only guaranteed way??? a real good air line water/oil separator. ugly as hell, but guaranteed to keep the oil out..
