if you go with something differant, go with 6000K, you'll love em, that is what i have in my L, i like the look, plus 6000K has the brightest part of white light before it starts to tint twards the blue color... 6000K is the way to go!

I am selling a set of HID Headlights they were prototypes from Visteon/Xenarc. I have had them for about 3yrs they are in great shape. I am asking $250 for the it comes with the wiring harness. [IMG][/IMG]

I got a set for my 02 and I luv them. They light up street signs close to 2 blocks away. I agree about the high seeming low and the low seeming high. No one flashed their high beams at me with my lows on. They are wicked. I got the 8000K lights. There is a grounding screw behind the headlights that I used for the ground and mounted the ballast bracket there also. No holes drilled. I mounted the relay right above the horns. I also ordered a set for my wife's Mustang. They go on next. The guy cut me a $10 break on each for ordering 2 sets.
