    Texas Intelligence

How does a person define what makes Texans' legislature so gosh-darn smart?! I think the Texas House of Representatives must have passed this one on to the Texas Senate with eyes closed! I think they must have probably named it: "The D*** Cheney Act"!

At least when the blind person has a loaded gun, it can now be equipped with a laser site to help the blind hunter's 13 year-old (minimum) companion.

Technically it's a veggie and has most in common with a gourd/pumpkin which is a veggie. Although most consider it a fruit because of the way in which it's eaten and most consider it a type of melon like a honeydew or cantaloupe but isn't really classified as one. Even with this knowledge I consider it a fruit but if a person would bet on which one it is a veggie it is classified as.

As far as the bill passed most would probably say that's insane and Id probably agree. I think the part that makes most peeps enjoy hunting is the tracking/waiting and secondary but for some it's a primary or supplementary food source and thrill of the kill for some it's the primary reason. If I can't see animal or track the animal myself then to me there's really no point for me to hunt unless that was my only means of food and at that point well......nuf said

No, technically it is a fruit. From a botanical perspective, a fruit is the mature ovary of a plant, such as an apple, melon, cucumber, or tomato. It has the seeds. It has nothing to do with how it's eaten. The other plants of its class are squash and zucchini, and they too are considered fruits. In the culinary sense they are considered vegetables though. But culinary is different from reality oftentimes. ;) I think it's kind of like the whole tomato thing though.

And on the hunting bill: that's kind of scary honestly. What's the fun in hunting if you aren't able to track down the animal yourself? All you're getting to do is pull the trigger.
