    Lightning or Supercharged Harley Flexplate

Stew, I saw your note about onebadf150 having one, but he has not been on since 3/29. Anyone have an extra flexplate lying around?

Yep, the flexplate on the non-supercharged 4R100 trannies bolts to a 4-bolt converter. The Lightning flexplates bolt to a 6-bolt converter. I went ahead and bought a new Lightning flexplate from Ford today.

BTW, if anyone is looking for a race-quality aftermarket flexplate for the Lightning, Jegs sells them. It is $170 though.

huh, intersting. for some reason i was thinking my 4R70W converter had a 6 bolt and my 4R100 had a 4 bolt, but may just be mixing it up

Yeah, I think you probably have it backwards. I know the L has 6 TC bolts.

Now your flexplate bolts to the engine may have been 6. I think the L has 8.
