    Josh ... "Z-King"!

    Josh,

Since you are undeniably the absolute Zaino KING ... would you please put up a brief recommended "How-to" based on your expert application experience? I know you started a thread a long time ago on one of the other sites about your recommendations, but I've had a difficult time finding it. I am sure a quickie "Recommended-Alternative-Zaino-Process-Methods" in a "How-To" would be much appreciated by all. THANKS!

Zaino is the shiznit! (I had to say it, at least once). The Zaino website has some good pointers on using the products. It has made out HD and Stang look even better than I ever thought a wax or polish could. We are Zaino customers for life.

I can't really make the instructions off the site any better, but do a search for "Zaino Tips" by "Harley#356" in the "Detailing/General Care" forum and you should find a few threads that i did here a while back for R126. If you do all 3 of those search subject area's, it should come up pretty exact on the threads.

A friend of mine has some great Zaino tips on his web site. Most are straight from Sal, but he added his own tips in the orbital buffer section.

    I know the Zaino secret

Spent nearly 10 hours yesterday doing the complete zaino treatment. After the third coat of ZFX and Z2 and z5 and z-whatever I was dead tired. The truck looks great but I can't say that it looks THAT much better than what I usually do without all the steps and blending and shaking. The secret is that you are so tired when your done that you want it to look great so it does. Don't get me wrong it is great stuff I'm just not sure it is that much better than what I have used in the past. It is however very easy to wipe off compared to all others. I'm just Z-d out!
When they hear the whine they will soon see my behind!

You are not going to notice a big difference with only 3 coats. After about 10-15 is when it really starts to shine. The mirror image is much more noticeable. You should also notice that Zaino stays on the car much longer than other wasxes/polishes.

That is why I moved on to other product for my truck.. It is all in what you want and how much effort you want to put in.

Ive used zaino for about 5 years.

I got sick of the saran wrap look it made with black.

Moved on to carnuba and havent looked back.

If you want to try something similar, try Blackfire or Poorboys EX. Both can be layered with carnuba as well, something Z cannot.
