i dont know, i mean how much else could you make it all that different? rims are different, badges are different, paint scheme is different, interior is different, cant really make too much else different from the FX4
i dunno my biggest disappointment is the paint scheme. when i heard vintage copper was gonna be the color, i immediately thought of mrparkers copper and black truck, thats a good looking truck/paint scheme. color looks a liitle off, and i dont like the lines of the SD paint scheme. i am sure the actual truck is awesome though.....
gotta remember too, these are just "spy" shots, not fords official press release photos. at least not yet.
and also, the colors never really seem to look right until the actual truck comes out and people get un-altered shots. remember the DSG 02 publicity shots? the truck looked dirt brown instead of the metallic DSG. people were posting up eww who would want a chit brown colored harley truckand then look, it was the most sold color in 02 over black!

All I can say is...I'm disappointed. I couldn't wait for the '08 Harley. I love the new bodystyle, think the 6.4 is great. Couldn't wait to hear the order banks were open, Randy's phone would never stop ringing "Randy, is my truck built?"

Ata Boy Fantom, Don't give in to Ford Bull****. And for those of you who want to know what I mean by bull****, here it is... Back in the good old days black leather was only an option on the harleys. Then, XLT Sport took some black leather. Now, FX4's are not only useing black leather, but also using the black carpet and ebony accents as well as a grill that is pretty similar except the chrome on the slats.

I loved the 03's as well - but since then, the HD offerings have been either too much truck for my needs or just didn't inspire me with the design or execution.

what really did you expect though? just an honest question. interior is FINALLY changed up from the 05-06-07 identical interiors, paint is FINALLY changed up from the 05-06-07 identical paint schemes, rims are FINALLY changed up from the 05-06-07 identical rims. yes its nothing revolutionary or shockingly different, but personally i'd be more disappointed if it were the same ol' rims ford already used for 3 years in a row, with the same ol' paint scheme from 3 years in a row, with the same ol' interior ford already used for 3 years in a row with just an updated front end.

My work bought some of the '08 Super Duty's and I am not impressed. First item that caught my eye was the redesigned front grill............... RE: Dodge Ram, Grill is a part of the hood and leaves the radiator, Trans cooler and anyother radiator type set up OPEN FOR DAMAGE when tthe hood is opened. We are in the process of designing a guard to protect it all. IMHO..........
Interior needs to be investigated alittle closer.
Paint is.......................... open for descussion.

fords been doing the grille attached to the hood since 04 with the new body style f150. i dont like that either. especially chitty for car shows...nice fugly radiator in plain view with the hood up
Wasn't aware of it. We have Super Duty's and 3500 series Chebbies at work. Still don't like it.
