Sorry for the delay on this months TOTM installment campers. This month's TOTM goes to Blake Finnell aka Fuzion. So without further ado:
EDIT: Images added
Question # 1: What sparked your interests in the Harley trucks?
Specifically your HD Truck?
Well I have always been a fan of Harley-Davidson motorcycles, then in 2000 the H-Ds came out I thought they were awesome, well I still liked em in 2001 and then of course fell in love with them in 2002 cause of the flame.
Question # 2: Any interesting stories behind the history of vehicles you've owned leading up to the HD truck or how you got it?
I have always been a person who liked flames and the 2003s were fixing to come out and I was soon to turn 16. My brother, Dad and I
were at the Ford dealership one day in October of 2002 and I was eyeballing the black 02 saying I wanted it. My parents later surprised
me with it. Greatest day of my life thus far. I was totally shocked, it showed up in the driveway along with a Sport Trac. I got to pick, I
think I chose the better of the two.
Question # 3: Give me a rough list of the mods that have been done to your truck. I know you've got a lot done, so you can just list for
favorites if you'd like!
Most favorite would have to seriously be the LFP 58" Traction Bars. Don't get me wrong, I love the FTVB, the forged bottom end, the Whipple
sitting atop the motor spinning at roughly 14lbs but the traction bars are my favorite thing.
Question # 4: Tell us a little about yourself. Your other hobbies, your job, your favorite past time, whatever!
Other hobbies besides modding this truck, would be racing this truck! I know its not smart or wise, but the chance of always beating
up on a Corvette one night on the streets is a blast! My job used to consist of 6 days/nights a week at a tanning salon. The past year I
have worked both that job and also being a driver for a lumber yard in Dallas. Recently quit the tanning salon after 4+ years of being there
with hopes of progressing in the lumber industry.
Question # 5: You've been a member on the site for a while now, what is one of the best things you like about the site that keeps you
around?
The people. I love the group of people we have. I've been on other boards before, and I would never feel okay about calling
someone a few states away to ask a question. Dbl G, Harley356. Stew. Gotta give it to those guys, they are the so called "gurus" of our
trucks. If I can't figure it out myself one of those 3 will know it. Then the new members, just being here to help them out and make safe
decisions on modding.
Question # 6: What is one suggestion to help make the site a better place?
Its already been done. The newly added ladies forum to get a little more involvement from the wives or girlfriends of members.
Question # 7: This is where I normally ask about where you decided on your screen
name and any specific reason for choosing it?
I actually stole it, not from another forum or anything but from a truck itself. In an old issue of Truckin, like 2002/03 there was a red 02 F150 w/ a 1956 Ford F100 front end on it. It was done up my a company called Fuzion Motors. I thought Fuzion was a cool name, so I took it and just went from there.
Question # 8: Almost at the end, what is in the future for your truck?, so what's the next plan of attack for your trucks future?!
To finish the sound system I started nearly a year ago then I suppose Heads and Cams to accompany the Whipple.
Question 9: Last and final question, just an open end question for if you had anything else you wanted to mention that I didn't have a question for...here's the place to go at it! Your website link, a plug for something, etc. etc. whatever you want to throw in!
Not much else to say, except I love this board. Greatest forum I have ever been on, don't plan on leaving it anytime soon. Even thought
I'm not able to get on as much as possible I still think and wish I could get on everyday. I don't consider this board a group of people,
its more like a family. All the people I have met locally doing this is the best thing ever.
Thanks Dwight and Nan for creating the NHTOC!
Congrats Fuz.
