I think Randy posted some rough #'s a while back. IIRC, 04's were around the 8K range, 05's around the 5K range (rarest HD so far), not sure on 06's or 07's

Are you talking about the number of Harleys built during that model year? If so I would be interested in the number of 07's since that's when Ford originally was going to release the 6.4 until it changed to the 08 model year. If I had to guess 07 would be the lowest...but I could be wrong.

to answer your ques, Bear hunter, Randy actually told me that the 07 production #'s were around 3800. So, your truck is one of the rarest ones!

On another note, I have probably seen an estimated 200-300 of the 2004 HD SD's through online sales and none of their numbers have exceeded 5670. I honestly doubt that they made more than 6000 04's!

yeah i havent heard the 07#'s. so very well could be the new lowest production run. before that i'm pretty sure it was the 05's. unless you want to count HD SD's and HDF-150's, then 05 would win out since there were no HDF150's in 05

and i thought the 04 #'s were pretty low too. dont see many of them on the boards here, but i'll try to find old thread
