    I Finally made it!

    Hey all,

I finally made it! I bought a Black 2002 #6741 about a month ago, and haven't been able to register to the forum until now. I registered at NLOC a few days after I bought the truck and was able to get some help over there.

I'm glad to finally be able to register for the site. I'm also eager to meet the fellow SoCal Harley owners. I'm really eager to start modding the truck but I'm currently out of work (if you know of any openings - hint hint)

When I bought the truck it was already lowered and had a flowmaster muffler. In the past 4 weeks I've done a few things, basically just bringing it up to par, nothing too exciting. Fuel filter, alignment, tires, shocks, etc.

    Here are the details:

    Black 2002 #6741
    Ground Force 2/4
L-Spec Bilsteins, Bell Tech shock extenders
295/45 Hankook rear, 275/45 General front
    Flowmaster muffler
    No stripes/Flames

I also worked out a deal with a guy on NLOC for a JLP ram air...so that'll be fun. I got some new plugs that need to go in, and I'd like to clean up the top end, like the ic/he and up. After that then I'll start real modding!

thanks for the warm welcome everyone

Stew - thanks for the help on NLOC. You'll later regret extending your help and offering to help me locally. "Can you help me install this throttle body spacer? it swirls the air......"

greyhd - i only have 2 pics, and they are horrible cell phone pics. I finally charged up the digital camera but it was for selling things on CL... I haven't washed the truck since the day I brought her home
BOC? I don't know what that means but I'm from San Diego. PQ to be exact.

seinjr - I hate it so much. It's a 3" si/so. The 2 pipes merge with a y into the muffler and exit with a single tip in front of the rear wheel. It's ugly and sounds like a straw under water. Unfortunately it's not a priority.

BlairTruck and I are no strangers to speed, hp, and balls out performance. We used to own V6 F150s, the badass ones with 200hp.

Rman no problem....I know what I get myself into LOL

and you will need about 3 more posts to start posting pics.....its the spam filter we have here that is blocking yoiur posts with pics...

Dont forget to check out the Local HTSC (Harley Trucks of Southern California) Section we conduct all our local business there, GTG's, Mod Days etc....got one coming up with the SoCal LOC on the 14th of next month.

Every weekend is a mod day at my pad mostly.....unless someone else chimes in and needs a hand at their's.

Stew, i read about the SoCal LOC one, I don't know if I'll be able to make it out to that one. As I've told you before, the main thing I'm hesitant with is changing the plugs. You say 45 minutes, I've read about a guy taking 5 hours and only getting 6 out!

And Band of Crappers... NICE! i was thinking "Bottom of Cali" or something stupid like that.
