i put the myron davis 7in. monitors in my factory head rest. i have sitting in the original ford packaging all new leather seat covers and headrest covers for my truck. so im not worried about cutting up my factory's. there was a company that listed them for our trucks but i don't know what the name was.

    looking at a 7'' to a 8'' 9'' 10'' 11'' is like night and day.

To fine the best picture for the money look at the spec's
the higher the number the better picture for the most part.

    simply - Super High quality Picture: 800 (H) x 600 (V)
    CCEDPitch size: 0.282 X 0.282 (mm)
    Contrast: 300:1
    Brightness: 400 cd/m2

    Resolution:800 x RGB x 480
    Cced pitch size: 0. 282 X 0. 282 (mm)
    Contrast: 250:1
    Brightness: 400 CD

    Super High quality Picture: 800 (H) x 600 (V)
    CCEDPitch size: 0.282 X 0.282 (mm)
    Contrast: 300:1
    Brightness: 400 cd/m2

Some my say .....Resolution 800x480....very good

    Also very good Resolution: 1440 (H) x RGB x 234 (V) pixels
    CCEDPitch size: 0.282 x 0.282 mm
    Brightness: 350 cd/m²

    Poor spec's
    Dot Matrix: 0.107(H) x 0.372(V)
    Resolution: 480(H) x 234(V) Pixel

I do not know anything about Alpine PKG-M780 or Myron & Davis expect that they cost more....I tend to look at the spec's on all monitor not the name band.

    just my .02 cents

I am 100% with Kromie on that! Having these in my '03 actually helped so much with negotiating what price I wanted for my truck when I sold it, they are of great quality and the picture is awesome.

My '07 will have monitors installed from the dealer (actually outside customizer) and will have the DVD built into each unit as well as each will have the A/V in/out on the face for either the many hand held 300+ game handheld games the kids have or to plug a PS2 into one and an XBox into the other. lol

There was a set for sale in the classifieds for a GREAT price and I wish I was able to get them and finance them with the truck.
Not able to find them in there any more, so not sure if they are sold or not.

capritoms had them for sale, you can PM him to see if they are still up for grabs. I had been PMing back and forth with him, seems like a nice guy and straight forward.

    Later...

I had Vizualogic screens in my 2000 harley and the black leather matched perfectly. I left them in the truck when I traded it in because the supercrew has smaller headrests. I actually thought the picture quality was excellent. I've been contemplating adding them into this truck, but don't tailgate nearly as much as I used to.

We've done it on several harleys here at the store. You get a pair with 7" screens, stand alone (hidden) DVD player, RF modulator and two wireless headphones.
The part number for our trucks, in the black leather finish is 75A-79017-L523.

Here's a link to Vizualogic's site, the picture is incorrect.
Just enter Ford, F-150, 2003, Front Row Seats. Your only screen size option is 7".

Shehan has pictures in his gallery and I've seen them in his truck, the color matches. We sell them all the time, never had a complaint. The Alpine 780 set is too tall to fit into the factory headrest. The trim ring and cage would stick out as the leather contours to the sides and to the top. I just went out with a TMEM780 and tried it on my truck.

EDIT: Hopefully he won't mind my linking to the pictures in his gallery

I had the Myron & Davis installed in my truck. Actually the truck still has them in there and the new owner has them in there now.
I have pictures in my gallery of them as well.

I thought the color matched perfectly with the factory seats. I would not and will not cut up the factory head rests.

However I do have a set of factory head rests for sale in the classified section on here. PM me if you are interested, they are just sitting around in a box in my room taking up space.
