I took a pic today of the truck at the shop. They were closed for the day, but an employee let me in to look at the truck ( real quick). I took a pic with my phone camera and sent it to marioec. it looks sweet. I think the SLP will be ordered tonight. gotta shop for the best deal. i will pick it up tomorrow morning ( saturday). then to figure out the rear sway bar issue.

I can't believe how much a drop changes the look of these trucks, that looks damn sweet! All I need is a good 2/4 drop... rough roads here and I don't feel like havin' my fillings rattled out like my old truck..

unfortunately, in order to get the $2007 rebate, it had to be from current dealer inventory. I found this fully loaded one at Sarasota Ford, and proceeded to deal.
I am proud to be part of the N/ A club for now. 14.5 mpg and $6500 still in my pocket. If I go for a S/ C down the road, it'll be twin screw.
I may still research going Turbo, but more than likely it'll be custom made.

And if these engines prove to hold up to the extra boost we tend to give them (via mods), that will be a plus. If these engines start "venting" easily, I will forgo the S /C until a built motor comes along.

I gotta keep it all in perpective...

Looks good, but arent the kits a 2" and 4" drop or a 3" and 5" drop. How did you end up with 2" and 5"?

Im thinking my 3 and 5 might be to low for our crappy roads up here!

I need to move down to Florida and enjoy driving my truck on your great roads!
Oh yeah, we need more pics....

The Ground Force #9933 is listed as a 2 / 5 ( on another thread it says the 5 inch drop is more like 4.XXXinches of drop. the front did drop just a bit, def 2 inches. but enough room by my standards to not experience any rubbing problems. I removed the spare tire, and will prolly remove the trailer hitch to lose a few lbs. out back. the rear should lift just a hair more. otherwise, it drives fine. this truck is very very sweet. the stock exhaust has a nice low rumble, so I hafta enjoy it until I want to install the SLP exhaust ( L exit) on there. sure to sound louder.

The engine bay is dissapointing at the moment.....lol.. no bling, no mods, nada. the coil pack screws look real easy to get to. the two in back ( #7 , #8) look tough , but nuthin like the 02/ 03 ones.

like a few of the guys have said, this truck is heavy, so I will attempt to try and lose as much lbs as necessary. ( the E fan might be next)

the hood is tempting, but I just saw a goodhood similar to the keystone, on a new Gen F-150, and that joker was heavy.
