    right on. just hafta be extra careful, which I was with my stock 20's and 22 reps. these OEM 22's have alot of rim protection ( and tall sidewalls). I think if I end up keeping both sets, I may switch them up every once in a while, to keep changing the look of the truck. this way, they'll last like 5 or more years without having to buy new tires....

    on to another subject...has anyone installed baer decelarotors or upgraded the brakes? I think baer or wilwood makes a rotor and/or piston upgrade kit for these trucks..might need to look into this....

    Update. I weighed the truck ( 1/4 tank), me ( 180lbs), bed full of gear ( 100lbs) , no spare, cab full of gear and books ( 30 lbs)..

    5800 lbs!!!!. the guy reading the scale, just said 2.9 tons, which I didnt' ask for further details on the "point 9" part.....

    IIRC, my 02 HD weighed 5560 with 3/4 tank, no spare, nothing in the bed nothing inside, exc. me ( pry 170 at the time, lol.)

    OK , I added a Ford (actually Rugged Liners makes it for Ford) tailgate liner.
    $45 from NDEBT, considerably less than a sprayed on HD logo liner on the tailgate.




    And I crawled under the truck today and noticed that the frame rails DO NOT have that sticky rubberized coating that Josh (among others here) hate so much. They are painted black and that's it. Easier for drilling into , bolting brackets to, welding, etc....

    another mod to the list finished

    They are WANLI. got them on ebay. but I don't have plans for them for at least another 4 weeks plus, cuz of the centerline order delay.

    That is why I had the dealer toss in the spray in liner as part of my trade for the 03.

    I also love the fact that there is NO undercoating on the underside of the truck!!!!

    OK, I called centerline about getting the rims black chromed!! have to follow up to see if it can be done for a decent price.
    and I also picked this up today for a Friday install!!!


    and Bigbill threw me a price on a Whipple.....ohhhhh yeaaaaahhhhhh

    I'd like to see this truck lose some weight sooner than later before I go making passes. Like Rhyno mentioned, he didn't see that much of a difference with the stock Saleen setup and an N/A Truck. Theys gonna need some tweaking.....

    yeah, the ford stock I have is in the dumps. gotta make it go up a bit to justify keeping it longer or else take a tax write off for 07 or 08.
