How much extra did the bluetooth, ipod cable, and sirius run you? Those are the three accessories that I'm wanting to add to mine initially. I MAY install a backup camera at a later point, but I haven't decided yet. Definetly hooking up my extra Xbox to it though, just need to find a good spot to hide it.

heres all the accessories from Pioneer and should answer all your questions about pricing... However my backup cam & Ipod adapter cable i just looked up the model number from the above website & found them on eBay for cheaper.. But i would def consider the back up cam.. with my tv i can split the screen up to half nav & half back up cam when i am hauling something or just crusin.. I just enjoy the feature.

I'm just not sure how practical it would be, I guess it'd be ok for getting out of tight spaces. Does it show depth well? My only worry is if it wouldn't look as close as it actually is and you back up into something thinking you've got room.

A backup camera isn't on the priority list when I get it, it'd be something that I add in the future. Ipod is a must, Sirius would be nice but not completely necessary, how is the bluetooth interface? I haven't seen any pics of it, so if you had one or could take one that'd be great.

SD card base navi system up dates just a little bit faster DVD base navi system

Having a SD card base navi set up... You will no way interfer with the rear zone veiwing dvd,cd or,Aux....while you are listen to your Ipod & veiwing the navi all at the same time.

I will not tell you what to buy.....I will say this ....the SD card navi uploads & update faster while you are driving, than DVD navi

And with the SD card navi you will have better dual zone setup for you & your family

The backup camera is a must on any large vehicle I buy in the future and there are already on both of our trucks! I can back up to anything and not worry about hitting it.

You will have to find out if the Navi you are looking at
are buying is DVD or SD card base navigation maps.

I think kenwood has a add on navi unit that is SD card
    base maps

So the AVIC D3 will fit any 02 HD? Just clarifying this, as the crutchfield website says a double din will not fit.

How are you liking your unit? Did you have to do any trimming? I am looking for a replacement.

i have the pioneer d3 and i love it. The navigation is great, the ipod is great and the dvd is to. Oh and the blue tooth is nice. And you don't really need to use both cd's for the navigation unless you plan on going from one coast to the other like i did. Very good unit and not expensive
