I always use saddle soap or mink oil. I get it @ Wal*Mart in the shoe section.

So I take it you liked the Leather Only Stew?
I love this stuff, smells like leather, has the same PH as leather so it wont hurt it, contains no solvents and cleans and conditions in one step. The safest thing you can use plus this is the only product this company makes, leather is their biz.

Guys I use Doc Bailey stuff, both of my Harleys (2 and 4 wheeled). It gave me back the deep black luster I missed. My Hog sits in the sun when I'm at work, so my Corbin seat see it's share of sun! It's as black as the day I got it! My buddy got his the same time I got mine, his looks grayish, mine, BLACK... It worked great on the centers in the truck too!

i haven't used it yet but I've heard this works really well, I plan on trying it
Unless it is "block leather" (such as saddles), it is not a good idea to use any kind of soap (increases Ph balance of the leather) or oils (breaks down tanning process over time) on "tanned" (dyed) leathers.
Although not inexpensive, I have used "Leather Only" for quite a few years on my bike seats and auto seats ... best stuff out there! ... hands down! Worth the price.
pledge lemon no kidding.. not shinny looks factory new.. been using it on show cars for decades...
