My sister lives down there. Im about 2 hours away. I do go every now and then to see her and try to catch a couple shows too.
With 6" on 37s you should be legal, doesnt mean you wont get pulled tho. Bumper height in VA is 30"front and 31" rear.

Hey cfradam, yes it has been a while, busy with the motorcycle dealership, but on to bigger and better things. It looks like I am #@*! cause I have a radar detector, I have tinted windows, and it is all on a lifted truck. Maybe I will have look elsewhere.
I have a radar detector with laser shifter.
My windows are tinted to 18%, legal is 50% (front) 35% (rear).
I'm lowered via the Hotchkis TVS package.
I've only been ticketed for the window tint, after an officer pulled me over for "excessive acceleration". That was a little over a year ago.
From my experience the troopers here won't pull you unless you're driving like an idiot (or smoking up the tires).
That's not happening as much now because of the civil remedial fees...which have scared a lot of people into compliance with regular drivers.
There are trucks in the VA Chapter of FTW that are lifted higher than yours, and while they get harassed every now and again, it's not an everyday occurance.
i don't live in VB but i have been there a few times, lots of Navy up there especially in the Norfolk area, VB not so much however there is a little base just south of the VB strip. I'm not a fan of the east coast especially virginia, but there are some great places to live up there, good luck with the move.
