    Well here ya go...looks like new predator is available....the new units are black or blue....no longer green

    Well,for those seeking the infinite power,it may be a loss...

    the old one I have now is keeping me and my truck satisfied,if one day I decide I have to make my truck become a rocket,I'll probably will have more money to buy another tuner...perhaps another brand...perhaps something lighter ... who knows

    Internal design, memory, design etc is what allows the newer model to hold more tunes and do things faster etc.

    No they are not obsolete.....just not being produced anymore is what I understood in my conversation last night. In terms of support they still support them...will any new updates come out for them???? Not sure.

    See above statement and to reiterate the 8r11 is for the newer style predators that hold 5 tunes as well as a couple more precanned tunes, not the Older style predator. The last update for the older style is 8r9/8r10 dependent upon what your bootup screen shows....

    Custom Tune gone in predator after update

    Hey guys,

    I've updated mine to the 10 version and then the 11 version, but now I can't find my custom tune. I am able to view the last tune installed (which is my custom tune.) When I try to find it... well, it's gone. The one that I have is the U7000 model, if that helps.

    Is there a way to pull the tune from the truck to the predator?

    its not supposed to lose the tune when upgraded...but

    a rule of thumb has always been...copy/export the custom tune from the predator and save on computer.

    then return truck back to stock

    then update predator

    and then upload custom tune back to predator

    then load custom tune to truck.



    Any time the factory tune is uploaded back to the truck the custom tune inside the Predator will be lost.

    Ive got the new model predator but it doesn't list a tune for 87 w/ pulley. I was planning to try it out when towing but with 93 oct but it only lists 93/93/pulley tune. Am I missing something?

    Also after installing the 91oct tune I noticed when I start the truck in the morning when its cold and let it warm up the idol wanders badly. It will idle normally for a wile then jump up for 10 sec or so then drop back down. Is this normal?

    My friend just gave me his predator u7158 with 8r7 revision in it. it looks like 8r10 is the highest i can go. with the green predator. how will does the 8r10 work on our trucks?i did call them and for $99.we can get a hardware upgrade for the green predator that will let us get the latest revisions 9r02.. or should i save my money and just use 8r10?any ideas sure would help. i just don't want to screw up my truck with out dated stuff..i have no idea about tuners all help welcome....

    Sorry to bring up an old thread. I received my diablo predator today U7158 and noticed there is an update for it on the Diablo website. Just wondering what the current update does or includes?
