Initial Trial of EZDetailer...two thumbs up!

Had a hOOters meet on saturday and cdillon was in the area and hooked me up with a trial of EZDetailer. Used it yesterday on my stealth and all I gotta say is that guy is a bastard!

"its like crack...the 1st time's free and then you're hooked" Yep! That pretty much sums it up! haha

I was VERY skeptical at 1st just like Snake said in his thread, because i've been using the full zaino arsenal of products for years now with spectactular results (although I've been lazy this year and havent Zainoed my truck in FOREVER ). But anyway, tried it on my stealth yesterday and was damn impressed!

I usually just use a spray-wax on the car cuz its just my beater and not worth my time spending hours detailing since it gets beat up parking in philly everyday. I always get streaking and hazing and unevenness in the finish though with other spray on wax type products. EZDetailer it worked incredible! Quick to use with the aerosol, wiped it in with a cotton towel, let haze, then it wiped RIGHT off with ZERO effort with a MF towel. Even did it in direct sunlight on my dark green paint and it didn't make it any more difficult at all!

Also I didn't notice right away, but few hours later when I was walking back to my car the paint seemed to look darker than it ever has before.

I didn't get to talk to CDillon much at the meet about the stuff, so next time around I'll try to get more info, but I'm not sure how much I'd use it on dirty paint. the can seemed to make it seem like a waterless wash sort of stuff, but I'd rather spend the 15 mins to wash & dry the car (or 1/2 hour for the truck) before using the stuff.

Either way, worked incredibly easy and fast. Next weekend I'll try to throw a few coats of zaino on the truck to get the synthetic base down for longer durability, but definately going to start using some EZDetailer for quick touchups and montly detailings!

Zaino isn't hard, but it is a full polish job for applying Z2 or Z5, and the Z6 or Z8 quick detail doesnt really add much protection but does shine the paint up and slicken it up. But the EZdetail will come in handy for occasional use to throw a bit more protection onto the paint without the effort or time of adding another coat of Z2 or Z5. So I think my new routine will still be 3-5 coats of zaino two times a year, but then EZ Detailer monthly or before shows, etc. to "freshen" up the paint, and then the Z quick detailers for final detailings.

I'll put up a full review when I get to use it on the HD, and have a few more questions about the product, but so far for my stealth I'm definately hooked!

    FILTHY!:

    EZ Detailed in no time!:

I'll try and get some better pics today of how the paint looks a bit darker, those dont really do it justice, but I gotta say, it doesnt look too shabby at all for 14 year old paint, parked in the city every day, and a 15 minute wash and 10 mins of EZ Detail!

We need a SV for this stuff!!!

I gave it a shot when I met up with RMAN out here in Cali for a Mod Day...its defintley pretty good....

I got some stuff from Tx Harley Guy bout two years ago that Honda sells...almost the exactly the same stuff....

Easy on Easy off...and like ya said pretty good shine for a quick detail, compared to just hitting it with quick detailer.

definitely. the one thing I'll have to wait to see on is how long it holds up and how quick it holds dust. the paint felt slick, but a wet slick where the zaino is more of a dry slick. kinda hard to explain, but when I use zaino on the HD, even dust doesnt want to stick cuz its so slick and feels totally dry. the EZDetail feels super slick, but has a wet feel to it, so I have a feeling dust might stick to it a bit more. but like I said I'll do another review when I give it a try with a mix of zaino inbetween, maybe some Z-6 will get the wetness feeling away and "dry" it up a bit but keep the slickness

What I've learned from using this: if you spray it on black vinyl, it'll turn the vinyl REAL black like you've just put ArmorAll on it. But after a few weeks, the black goes a little white like you over-applied wax and got some on the vinyl. Same thing for the badges -- get some in between the letters, and good luck getting it out. I can't remember what the F-150 badges are like, but mine have a black/grey textured finish and are a biotch!

If you miss wiping a spot, don't worry. It comes off just as easy the following day, even if the truck has been in the sun.

And if you rotate towels frequently, you CAN do a truck that's pretty dirty. I did spots on my truck that I would never have attempted with a quick detailer and all is good.

Wow, Thanks again guys!! Am I gonna have to put ya'll on commission??

I'm very glad you guys atleast give it a chance to let the magic work, but I really don't believe in "pushing" products when there is so much compitition! I got a warning about selling wax on this site without being a vendor but when I see how much Adam's sells, I don't think it would be worth the money!! I don't own the company and I am just a measley rep for them... However there are several ways to purchase this stuff!! I might be coming to a city near you or you can call 800.643.9929, and inquire about distributors in your local area!! Since I don't make a profit on orders through the company, atleast, your trucks won't suffer!!LOL

If you guys have any questions what so ever, please ask!! I give FREE advice!!LOL

Hey Stew, this is like Pro-Honda but thiers is just a polish, ours contains Carnauba Wax that will definatly give all the protection needed!! Pro-Honda is great product but also about half the size since it's made for bikes!

And I always spray on the towell first to prevent that overspray in the door jams and badges!! As far is the textured plastics, I love it, but that is way too hit or miss of a surface for me to promise desired results!! Some like it on that but some don't!!

Once again fellas, I really appreciate your reviews!! Josh the DD looks awesome!! Hell of a difference!
And Snake, thanks for standing by this stuff, we all know how picky Angle is about your truck!! That really means alot to me!

Josh,I didn't know you had a stealth as a DD,yours looks good now after the clean up I always liked the stealth and the 3000 gt...maybe I could get one for my son

I also tried the CD's gift a few minutes ago on my truck, and let me tell ya...it does looks great, deep black and shinny, the best part is...it's so easy to use, that turns bring the baby back to the shinny side a breeze,I'm sold

Greatest thing is to be CD's friend before anything else,if you can't ship refills,I'll travel NP... just to think that a year ago I didn't try it...make me it would have saved me a lot of strenth

    Thank you very much CD

yep got the stealth last year. absolutely love the car for a beater! DOHC V6 5 speed 222 hp so moves pretty good for a little beater coupe, and 29 mpg to boot! Just a few mods (tint, HID's, etc.) wouldnt be a bad car to get hoffie jr!

anyway back on topic, should be doing my 02 sonic blue flame stripes saturday, then throw a few coats of zaino on, so maybe sunday morning i'll throw some EZDetailer on the HD and see how I like it on the black

This stuff is great, i got it from Chris while he was down here and I use it on my GTO all the time. I do agree with Josh about giving it a quick wash if its too dirty.

Hey Chris you think the detailer will clean this up?
