Hellwig 7663 installed on 07 HD

OK , so I had to remove the stock exhaust and go to the L exit catback to make room for the Hellwig #7663 rear sway bar to work. Which I intended to clean up the sagging rear tailpipe "look"..
In the meantime, I also removed the rear spare tire ( to reduce weight).

pretty straightforward install, the bar ends ( endlinks end) face towards the rear of the truck. As I mentioned in another thread , the front sway bar is BEHIND the A arms and front crossmember with the ends facing "FORWARD". which I found interesting.
Anyway, here's the installed pics, prior to buttoning up everything.

The truck is lowered, so I hafta figure out about shortening those endlink bars. or buying shorter ones.

Here's the back end pic in stealth mode

Yep the endlinks are for a standard height F-150. since I have the GF 2 / 5 kit, I just called hellwig and they offer adjustable endlinks ( apprx $100). Or I can head over to the machine shop and shorten these badboys another 3 or4 inches . Yep the GF kit is a flip kit for the rear.

Looking great! Hows it feel now in the corners lowered and then with the rear sway bar on?

    Later...

the truck drives real good , maybe just cuz of the lower ride height. I took the endlinks to get cut down today and will get them bolted back on to the truck first thing tomorrow. then to take pics of the finished look.

oh, yeah and I shaved off another 3-5 lbs by removing the spare tire winch. I was looking under the bed area for some possible weight loss , but I should really be looking at areas up front. Troyer performance e-fan is tempting.

OK the shop took off 4.5 inches from the endlinks. I got it all buttoned up exc. the dig cam took a batt dump, so all I have is a pic of the new links. there's another 1.5 inches of extra threads, but this way the sway bar will work on a 3 or 4 inch drop truck also.

and here they are installed and buttoned up.
