Another question about a lowering kit. I ordered the Beltech 2" drop spindles and 4" hanger/shackle kit. Is this a good way or did I screw up. Anybody using this set-up. Will it be way to low.
Thanks.

it may be a little bit too low on the rear,I would install the spindles, and ONLY the shackles first, wait a few days to see if it's okay after settle down,an only after that "maybe" put the hangers on,I have basically the same thing, instead hangers,I have hotchkis 2 1/2 + shackles, and I hit the frame all the time.

Check out my drop I went with spindles and 3-4" leafs with 2" shackles and I love it.

Man that truck looks awesome. Hoffman, I will try that first. Thanks
get ready for a fun install with hangers. they are a BIATCH!!!!! most guys end up pulling the bed off to get a better angle to grind the rivets down, then hit them with an air chisel and air punch. not a fun install at all! IMO i'd go with a set of leafs, then fine tune the height with shackle settings, and forget the hangers.
I have 3" shackles (about 2" actual drop) with my dropped spindles and the rear is definately higher than the front. Has the old hot rod rake. That is fine with me though because I tow or haul on occasion and haven't had a problem with bottoming.
Thanks for the info. I aint worried about the install, I like tearing stuff apart and am pretty good at it. I have a 03 cobra and have had the motor, rearend tore apart replacing parts and made it through it OK.
