I dont have a newer truck...stick your head under there and look for any electrical connectors that aren't hooked up, posssibly any vacuum lines as well.

Yep, The mass air flow sensor plug shorted out on the JDM power steering relocation bracket. When I was installing it I thought it might cause a problem. It has rubbed the insulation off about 4 wires. I might be able to tape them up for now. I think JDM might need to relocate the sensor or the bracket.

some liquid tape on the worn though spots, then wrap em up in tape, then put some wire loom over that section to help stave off any rubbing.

This morning when I got into my office I took a look at the invioce from JDM. The intake by its self was $999 and that did not include the (2) $145 relocation brackets. All together thier intake is $1289 and its all plastic nothing special, similar to a Volant. It looks like they use FoMoCo parts to put it together.

Very good. It's a shame you can't see the S/C. Is there a Heat exchanger and intercooler reservoir?

Yes the heat exchanger sits in front of the radiator and the resivor is in the first pic in the center. Do you think that intake is worth $999?

Just got off the phone with Jim Jr. and he said they are lowering the pricing so he is going to get me a discount. So now I can use that credit to get traction bars.

Do you mean the actual intake under the Throttle body? it's hard to tell exactly what it looks like, but JDM has always been more expensive than other places. Once you get the details finished up, and get it dynoed and on the track, you'll be able to tell if it was worth it....
If you mean the Air intake...well...then you should ask for a deeeeep discount. like $700-750, cuz most good aftermarket air intakes run about 250 -275.
    good luck, z

The intake consist of the 90* elbow with the legs over the manifold, the elbow that connects to the air box, and the air box with the filter. The brackets for the intercooler resivoir and the power steering resivior are sold seperately @ $145 a piece.
