only other thing i noticed with the beer mod is after driving my idle is at 1k. i have yet to take it off and open the hole up to see if that helps
The Mod-Day no show guy just checking in... I got the estimate from the insurance company which totalled out to just over $3400.00.
The friend of mine that works at the body shop has my truck and I left a bunch of images of trucks with the Harwood cowl hood on it and told him to put THAT one it.
He called yesterday to verify that I wanted the cowl hood, he was with the ins adjuster... so, I guess I'll see what I got when I get back.
BTW.... it's frikkin HOT down here in FL!!!
not sure where he's ordering from, but Summit Racing is where I bought my harwood from. Had the best price after shipping, and a good company to deal with incase it arrives damaged or anything. It'll definately look sick on the truck!!!

btw got bored at work today and made another "beer mod" restrictor out of 1/16th" aluminum. going to polish it up when I get back to NJ lol. I'll probably make another friday and combine the restictor with my oil separator bracket into just one piece of aluminum.

i haven't messed with it yet. it only does it after its warmed up. i did how ever test the coils while it was running and they are fine. i think it might have something to do with the trans. might be the tq conv. locking up. cause the motor seems to almost pause. all the revs and gauges stay up but the truck seems to hault. if i lift off the gas it switches gears and all is fine.
Rich,I'd take the beer MOD out before any assumption,I notice on CD's truck it was pretty low idle,and when you put in gear,the computer compensate the idle,so it doesn't dye...

if you need a stock converter, I've got the one out of my 4R100 with only 8,000 miles on it. Might as well upgrade when going to the hassle of swapping, but with the kiddo on the way and the camaro project, if you need a stocker to hold the tranny up for a while just lemme know
yeah it goes into jdm tom. for the gears. i already told them about it. iirc it started just after the dyno day. i told jim at the dyno day that the tranny felt weird. he turned off something in the tune and the trans stopped feeling sloppy but then started doing this at wot. i didn't notice it til after i did the pumps cause i couldn't go wot. i may take you up on that offer josh since i may not have any $$$ soon, and not because of the kid!!!!
lol well whatever the cause, the converters yours if you need it haha.
be interested to see what JDM ram's you for that gear install too you'll have to post it up or PM me lol
