if you can pull the code if its for a rear O2, you can get them turned off in the tune when you get it dynoed. if its a front it'll have to be replaced. napa usually has them pretty cheap.
as for the wideband bung, you probably wouldnt know if its missing with how loud it is with no catback lol, but once everythings buttoned up you'd definately hear the gas blowing out. the mechanic probably plugged it though, couldnt miss it since its right across from the other O2 sensor bung.

Ok I cleared the codes and they obviously came back, so far everyone said it was most likely from the straight pipe. Ill get it all straightened out hopfully this weekend. im tire of working under the truck in the rain with out jack.

Well Ive been trying to figure out if I wanna stick with my bassani muffler's or not and I think i made my decision. im thinking about using the parts from my slp loud mouth kit that i bought for the stang. Theyve been just sitting there for about a yr and a half now and since I gotta get a new motor for it, itl be some time before it gets used. So if the rain clears up i may just have to give it a try

shouldnt be throwing codes just cuz there's no catback on there. something else is up. once you get the exhaust on take it to advance or one of those places and use their OBDII reader to pull the codes.
krix, you gonna be around on sunday? i can swing by on my way back home from Jackson NJ to pickup that wheel well and checkout the hooptie

A magazine has just done a piece on me and my truck with all kinds of build up pictures, and current exterior pics. It should be out soon, and when it is, ill post up more details.
RIch is the lucky one.. he's the only NHTOC member to see it in person, lol.
It was in rough shape, and wish I had a cover for it, but once it comes back, anything and everything i ever dreamed about will be perfect.
Truck right now is still up North getting all the interior and bed work done, and it looks completely crazy! Got a **** load of pics, but I ain't sharin'!

well I officially hate my truck. Hate the exhuast guy more! Just picked up the truck after having the local exhuast "specialist" finish welding my exhuast and hanging it. Well the piping isnt even all the way into the sleevs so I have a horrible exhuast leak at every seem and theres a huge hole in my brand new slp mufflers. Thats not all folks he hung my exhuast using wire , and what was the price he was trying to get from me $275. , he only worked on it for 45mins. Of course he tryed saying the exhuast was like that when I dropped it off. Um no the mufflers were brand new still in the box. As for the hangers he cut em off my truck so I cant even use em. I aint paying him crap, I just wish I coulda had the mufflers replaced. If I keep having these problems im just gonna sell the truck

how do you go from a guy doing a great job for a killer price on installing the LT's, to one hanging the catback with chickenwire?
find a quality shop and stick with it man lol. so you'll sell the truck and have the same issues with whatever vehicle you buy after it if you go back to the same backyard mechanics

the mechanic that did the headers doesnt do exhuast. I took it to petersons exhuast which is supposably the best there is. Now I duno what to do. I just called slp and had to buy new mufflers and now I guess im going to go to minakei or somthing.

if there's issues with custom shops around you, then stay away from the custom jobs! Buy a bolt in catback, drop it in there yourself, all done and nothing to worry about! After the labor, parts, etc. you're probably at the price of a brand new magnaflow catback from LFP

lol. I know but everyones got maggy around here. I got the bassani but the pipes are rusted out already. I was only going to go with the slp becuase i had the mufflers sitten here, either way i have to replace the slp so it can go on the stang. As for the exhuast I guess im just going to fix it myself and buy hangers or somthing.
